Our Story
Wedetach was born in Lagos, Nigeria — a city powered by ambition, movement and an unmistakable drive to keep going. In the middle of the hustle, we noticed something: work followed us everywhere. Calendars stayed full, phones stayed on, and the conversation about work-life balance rarely translated into actually stepping away. We saw teams achieving more while finding less time to pause, families sharing spaces but not always moments, and people waiting for burnout before giving themselves permission to rest. We believed there had to be a better way.
So we built Wedetach — a platform designed to turn intentional time away into something easier to discover, plan and experience together. We curate restorative escapes, retreats and meaningful group journeys that help teams, families and communities step outside the everyday and reconnect with what matters.
